Portuguese football star Cristiano Ronaldo has said in an interview in Portugal that he does not rule out becoming a Hollywood actor when he retires from football.
He explained he would start with small roles in order to acquire the needed acting skills. He said: “I would not be a lead, no,” he said. “I would do small roles. I like to learn, to be surrounded by good actors, but that is the only way you learn.”
The 31-year old Real Madrid player believes training is the key to success, and he is confident he can eventually become a good actor.
Cristiano has been involved in advertising and fashion for over a decade, which gave him a lot of experience in front of the camera.
Cristiano has recently launched his own clothe brand, and he hopes his name will grow aside from football. He said: “I want my brand to keep growing in different product areas, shoes, trousers, shirts…and the name Ronaldo to become eternal, and pass it down to my kids. That’s what I want.”
