Tyla Carr thinks the ghost of her dead granddad threw plastic in Jonny Mitchell\'s face.
The \'Love Island\' star is convinced her late relative - who sadly passed away just before she entered the famous villa over the summer - was trying to warn her off the handsome star by giving her a subtle sign while they were talking over crisps in the house.
Speaking to The Sun newspaper, the 23-year-old beauty said: "I did have this moment in \'Love Island\' when I was talking to Jonny Mitchell about Camilla Thurlow. And my granddad always said he\'d give a sign if he didn\'t like something or someone.
"So all of a sudden, I\'m eating crisps with the hummus dip and on the hummus dip there was this clear plastic thing that fell off and I put it on the side of the bed and as we\'re talking, he said something like wanting to go on a date with me.
"And I went: \'Oh well, you never know, things change like the wind.\' And suddenly the wind blew this plastic thing straight in his face.
"My granddad was giving him a massive slap in the face."
Despite her granddad\'s warning, the brunette beauty still struck up a brief romance with Jonny but then bedded \'Muggy\' Mike Thalassitis 24 hours after the hunk left the villa.
Prior to entering the house, Tyla promised her granddad that she\'d be a "good girl."
She said: "Before I went in there, he [her granddad] passed away and he gave me the best of luck and I promised I\'d be a good girl.
"The day before he passed away I said to him: \'I\'m not going to do it if you\'re still ill.\' And he said: \'No matter what, you better go on this show. I\'m really proud of you and whether I\'m there or not, I\'m with you every step of them.\' "
