Keeley Hawes will star in new ITV drama \'Finding Alice\'.
The upcoming six part series - which was created by the 43-year-old actress alongside writers Roger Goldby and Simon Nye - focuses on the lead character\'s raw and blackly comic journey of grief after the death of her husband Harry, which unveils a mess of secret debt, suspicion and criminality.
\'Line of Duty\' star Keeley said: "I am absolutely delighted to be working with the brilliant Simon Nye and the hugely talented Roger Goldby on a project that means so much to all of us.

"I have been a huge fan of [Red Production Company founder] Nicola Shindler for many years and I\'m thrilled to be working with her at last on \'Finding Alice.\' "
Alice is left with a sense of loss and abandonment when Harry has a fatal fall down the stairs after they move into their dream house, which he designed.
It\'s a weird, wonderful and impractical home, which leaves the lead character disorientated and unable to open the garage does.

A press release teases: "If that were her only problem...
"Men have a habit of hiding stuff that they don\'t want to deal with, and Alice discovers that Harry was worse than most."
ITV\'s head of drama Polly Hill added: "This is a brilliant script - emotionally truthful and darkly funny.
