Jessica Fox has got engaged.
The \'Hollyoaks\' actor - who portrays Nancy Osborne in the Channel 4 soap - and her significant other Nicholas Willes are to marry after he popped the question and she said yes.
She wrote on Instagram: "Be with someone you can be completely yourself with. Someone who makes you want to be better, kinder, eat more fruit and veg. So of course I said \'yes.\' (sic)"
Jess shared two Polaroid pictures of the happy couple, with the 36-year-old star showing off her engagement ring.
Nicholas posted the same photos on his Instagram and attached an emotional caption, in which he admitted he had an "irreparable hole in [his] heart" after two of his best friends died recently, but admitted Jess is "repairing the hole".
He wrote: "funny thing, life. beautiful, brutal and colourful. and sometimes a little too shiney, especially on the internet. in honesty, i\'m still struggling to come to terms with what\'s happened in my life over the last year and a bit, and that it\'s a real thing. grieving for two best friends has certainly brought a lot of tears, anger, confusion and what i thought was an irreparable hole in my heart. i don\'t think it will ever not hurt, but you learn to manage the pain. anyway, my point being, back in april I wrote on here the absolute necessity to live a bit harder and love a bit stronger, at all costs. don\'t wait. and i\'ve been working on practicing what i preach. for the simple reason that, life is very, very f**king precious. this one is repairing the hole so it\'s back to it\'s fullest, rocking my world whilst downright making me laugh all at the same time so f**k it, here\'s me being shiney. on the internet. but mostly in real life, with somebody i love. did a thing. (sic)"
Jess recently admitted she is really excited about Hollyoaks\' upcoming flashforward episode, during which fans will see village events a year into the future.
She said: "I\'m super excited about the flashforward episode. I think it\'s incredibly ambitious - not only to flashforward 12 months into the future, but also to do a storyline that involves almost the entire cast over the course of the year.
"It\'s a huge undertaking. I imagine they\'re up in the story office with characters on pieces of string, trying to figure out how it\'s all going to come together! I\'m excited for that."
