Shirley Ballas 'frustrated' as leak floods her home

Shirley Ballas was left "frustrated" after a leak flooded her home.

The \'Strictly Come Dancing\' head judge revealed her whole dressing room was "swimming in water" this morning (27.11.19) after previous attempts to repair the leak.

She took to Instagram to show fans the damage of her beautiful abode as she paddled in the water.

Shirley said: "When you wake up in the morning, you haven\'t had the best night\'s sleep and you\'re exhausted, and you get the same leak in the house you\'ve had three times already that\'s supposed to be fixed, and your whole dressing room is swimming in water, and your curtains are ruined, and your make-up is a mess and still you have the leak.

"I mean, \'What do you do?\' I\'ve got the towels down. I\'m paddling in it and it\'s been a little bit frustrating to say that this house was renovated from scratch. It cost me an arm and a leg - and trust me it was an arm and a leg - and builders, builders builders, what can one say."

The devastated 59-year-old ballroom dancer - who is set to star in the Christmas panto \'Jack and the Beanstalk\' - was running late to rehearsals when she discovered the leak.

She added: "I\'m just absolutely frustrated to bits this morning, so that\'s another side you can see of me today is dealing with that, and builders. And trying to get stuff - I\'ve got beautiful curtains that are ruined now at the bottom. It\'s just a mess.

"I hope everybody has a little bit better start to the day than me."

And to make matters worse, her shower door fell off its hinges and fell onto Shirley\'s mother, injuring her toe and turning it black.

She said in a second video: "It\'s one of those mornings today, this shower door here fell off on my mother, so her toe is just about killing her. I\'m busy checking all the ceilings now, I\'ve had to move all my stuff because everything was wet, all the shoes.

"All the bottom of my curtains are absolutely drenched, they\'re lace that I\'ve had for years, and years, and years, spoiled. Water all over the dressing table, just a mess!"

However, some luck eventually came Shirley\'s way as she later posted a video giving her fans an update from rehearsals.

She praised a taxi service for getting her to work on time, despite the early delay.

Shirley gushed: "When you\'re running late because you\'ve had a leak and Crawford\'s Cars get you there on time, even though you\'re running 30 minutes late - I just love Crawford\'s."
