Chris Fountain stranded in Bali during lockdown

Chris Fountain got stuck in Bali when the coronavirus lockdown struck.

The former \'Coronation Street\' star took to his Instagram account to reveal he was stranded on the Indonesian island because there were "no flights home", but he and his pals made the best of the situation by heading to a "remote part" of the land mass to get away from the busier areas.

He wrote: "Currently stuck in Bali, so me and my friends travelled to a remote part of the island to distance ourselves from the masses. Everywhere is eerily quiet. No flights home as yet and no obvious right answers as to what to do, missing my family and friends but trying to make the best of the situation. To everyone at home, stay safe, be kind and do the right thing to get this virus stopped as soon as possible #Bali #singaraja #socialdistancing #extremesocialdistancing #views (sic)"
