Nick Knowles is in "a better place" now than he has been in the past 20 years.
The 57-year-old television presenter - who split from the 26-year-old PR executive Emily Hallinan earlier this year, after a year of dating - has found being single can be a "positive", and admitted he has been getting to know himself better in lockdown.
He told The Sun newspaper: "There are times in your life when you are with someone, and there are times when you\'re not. And being single can actually be a very positive thing.

"Having a three-month, enforced sit-down has actually been one of the best things that\'s happened to me in my life.
"I feel in a better place now than I have done for probably 20 years, just spending some time getting to know yourself before re-entering the fray."
The \'DIY SOS\' star - who has been married twice to Gillian, from 1995 to 2000, and Jessica Rose Moor from 2012 to 2016 - confirmed on Valentine\'s Day (14.02.20) that he was single.
