Carol Smillie would return to television for \'Changing Rooms\'.

The 58-year-old host - who fronted the DIY show from 1996 to 2003 - was last seen on TV when she presented \'Finding Scotland\'s Real Heroes\' in 2013, but she would be willing to reprise her role on the home improvement makeover show if it returns to the small screen.

She told The Sun newspaper: "It was definitely the favourite show of my career, without a doubt. It would be the only show I\'d come back to telly for."

The programme - which originally aired on BBC - looks set for a potential comeback and a new home on Channel 4, with bosses said to be keen to bring back Carol and 55-year-old interior designer Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen.
