Tisha Merry keen for kids with Alan Halsall

Tisha Merry and Alan Halsall would love to have children together.

The former \'Coronation Street\' actress has admitted she could see herself marrying her ex-cobbles co-star - who has six-year-old daughter Sienna with his ex Lucy-Jo Hudson - and the pair would love to have a kid together.

Speaking on her YouTube channel, on which Alan put some of her fans\' assumptions to her, she said: "I do see myself getting married.

"I\'d love to get married and I do see myself having children with Al, but not for at least five years.

"I would like a child and Al would like a child, so yes we both want a child."

But Tisha insisted she didn\'t have the hots for Alan when they first met.

Responding to the assumption that she has "always fancied Alan", she said: "No, I actually haven\'t.

"We\'ve talked about this before, but we were best friends before we got together.

"I\'ve obviously known Alan for many, many years but no, I never looked at him like that.

"It was only when we got closer as friends, that I was like, \'Ooh, maybe I do fancy him a little bit, nine months down the line.\' "

The 27-year-old star played waitress Steph Britton for nearly four years on the cobbles, and she would "love" to return to the ITV soap at some point.

She said: "I would love to go back, I would also love to continue auditioning.
