anvir Singh and Clara Amfo have been confirmed for \'Strictly Come Dancing\'.

The journalist and radio DJ have both been announced for the upcoming series of the BBC\'s Latin and ballroom competition.

Ranvir - who appears at the political editor on ITV\'s \'Good Morning Britain\' - said: "The initial feeling of being confirmed for \'Strictly\' is one of complete terror - feels like embarking on a rollercoaster, where you really want to do it but you are equally scared.

"Hopefully after the first dance I will feel exhilarated rather than sick!"

News of her involvement was unveiled on \'GMB\' on Wednesday morning (02.09.20), the same day Clara - who is best known for her own BBC Radio 1 show - was officially announced on \'Radio 1 Breakfast with Greg James\'.

She added in a statement: "As we know this year has been a real challenge and escapism through dancing is something I know we all enjoy, so to be taught by a pro and live a fantasy is something that I can\'t wait to fully embrace, see you on the dancefloor!"

Ranvir and Clara join former NFL star Jason Bell, The Wanted singer Max George and actress Caroline Quentin after the trio were announced on Tuesday (01.09.20).

Both Caroline and Max had been rumoured to be appearing on the show before the news was confirmed, alongside comedian Bill Bailey, who has not yet had speculation confirmed by show bosses.

Sources said last week: "The BBC are delighted with the double signing. Caroline is looking forward to the challenge and wants to get properly stuck in.

The remaining celebrity contestants will be announced in the coming weeks.
