Jamie Spears steps down from Britney's conservatorship

Jamie Spears is currently not only Britney Spear’s father.

He’s also the main figure in her conservatorship

The conservatorship Britney has been under for more than 13 years.

Just a couple of weeks ago, the pop star was finally able to speak for herself

In front of a judge of the state of California.

The testimony of all the abuse she has suffered under this legal figure

Has made the whole world debate over the actions

Of her father and family.

Britney has spoken about the abuse and overwork she has suffered

Including not being able to control her finances,

Not being able to share with her children,

Not having access to her money,

Moreover, the worst part has definitely been the medical inability

Of deciding over her own body.

As the star stated that she has an IUD that she’s not

Legally permitted to remove from her uterus.

The whole world has been shocked by Britney’s journey

And the #FreeBritney movement has been there for her.

Stating how the fans are supporting her

And claiming justice for all the abuse she has suffered.

The good news for Britney is that the state of California

Has let her change her attorney to one she picked by herself

And is now the one in charge of ending the conservatorship

And later, if everything goes as Britney plans,

Suing her family for abuse.

Just a couple of days ago, Jamie Spears, her father

Had stated that “He will be stepping down” from the conservatorship.

However, he hadn’t established a timeframe for that.

And his attorney stated that he will be cooperating in a transition

“Only when the time is right”

Something that, even though sounds positive,

Leaves Britney in a sort of limbo.

At the mercy of the California court.

According to Jamie Spears’ attorney:

“There are no urgent circumstances justifying Mr. Spears’ immediate suspension.”
