Syesha Mercado reunited with her baby girl just a couple of hours ago.
The American Idol contestant is fighting a huge battle
Against the American Child Protection Services (CPS).
After being accused of abuse and negligence.
She lost the custody of her older son Amen’Ra
In what she calls “A legal kidnap of a black baby”
The singer took her boy to the hospital to get extra fluids.
For the process of transitioning from breasts to bottles.
However, the Manatee County’s sheriff declared
That they took the boy because they had received a call from an abuse hotline.
Sadly, just a week ago Syesha also lost custody of her then 10-day-old baby.
She shared via an Instagram live that the police made her surrender her baby.
Crying out loud, the singer was begging the CPS
To not take her newborn daughter.
She even had to pump a few ounces of breast milk for the baby.
And give them the bottle.
Mercado had to start a gofundme for the legal expenses
That this situation has caused.
Still, good news came to her life, after recovering her baby girl.
She shared through Instagram the great news:
"This just happened and we're heading home. We have our baby back, our newborn and we're just going to focus on getting those moments these couple of days, this week that we've been without her, focus on getting that time back. But we still got some work to do with getting Ra back."
The clip showed her with her partner and the baby girl on the back of the car.
You can spot the happiness in her face.
"But we want to say thank you. Because of ya'll and my family, we've had the proper support to get the best attorneys in the country to be able to bring justice."
