In early November, Vin Diesel made public a conversation between him and Dwayne Johnson.
In the conversation, Diesel asked Dwayne, aka The Rock, to return as Luke Hobbs in Fast & Furious 10.
It was through Instagram where Diesel made the request to the interpreter.
However, his words were not taken very well by the users or by Dwayne.
As the franchise star used the name of the late actor Paul Walker and his children as resources
to convince Johnson to agree to return to the franchise.
"My little brother Dwayne... the time has come. The world awaits the finale of Fast 10.
As you know, my children refer to you as Uncle Dwayne in my house.
There is not a holiday that goes by that they and you don't send well wishes... but the time has come.
Legacy awaits. I told you years ago that I was going to fulfill my promise to Pablo."
In a recent interview with CNN, weeks later, Dwayne responded to Diesel's request, criticizing him for
going public since the two had reached an agreement in private.
In fact, The Rock stated that in a previous conversation, he had made it very clear to Vin that he
would not be returning for the final installment of the saga.
Johnson said the following to CNN:
"Win's recent public post was an example of his manipulation.
I don't like that he brought up his children in the post, as well as Paul Walker's death. Leave them out of it.
We had spoken months ago about this and came to a clear understanding.
My goal all along was to end my amazing journey with this incredible 'Fast & Furious' franchise with
gratitude and grace." Dwayne explained.
