Matt Reeves: Bruce Wayne is inspired by Kurt Cobain

Matt Reeves did reveal that the new Bruce Banner is related to Kurt Cobain.

The long-awaited new movie about the Bat-Man is already a success.

People noticed that the song playing in the background was "Something in the way" by Nirvana.

Then, the project director did reveal a connection between that band.

Specifically, a special relationship with the singer Kurt Cobain.

Cobain was the singer and leader of Nirvana, one of the greatest grunge bands in history.

The band did have successes as "Come as you are" and "All apologies."

He is considered one of the most iconic rock stars ever.

He did deeply suffer from depression and heroin addiction.

Kurt Cobain's death was a tragic event for the X Generation.

Matt Reeves was listening to Nirvana while writing the script; he told Empire recently.

He did have the idea that this Bruce would differ from the one we already know.

The last edition of Empire brings out some new reveals about this.

"I thought we could tell the part of Bruce Wayne who went through a tragedy."

"I began to make this connection between Gus Van's movie about Kourt Cobain

and I knew that I did want his history to be in my movie." he did finish.

Ben Affleck initially led the project "The Batman."

After several personal issues, the actor did have to quit the film.

Then, it was official that Robert Pattinson was chosen for this role.

Fans were not completely glad about this decision.

But now, the film promises to be a complete success.

The release date will be March 4th, 2022.
