Through her social networks, Demi Lovato announced that she said goodbye forever to her pop sound.
The singer celebrated a meaningful ceremony in which she was accompanied by her closest friends.
Like her, her friends wore black to say a final farewell to her music.
Among those in attendance was his music manager Scooter Braun, who apparently approved of the meaningful farewell.
'A funeral for my pop music', wrote the 29-year-old singer to accompany a photo he posted on her Instagram.
In the picture, she wears a dark look and poses showing her middle finger.
The singer shared scenes of the encounter with her followers through her Instagram stories.
Throughout the stories, she is seen smiling with her group of friends, from a recording studio showcasing her
new music to a rock beat.
In fact, the release date of the new album, which will present the singer's new musical stage, is unknown.
Apparently, this musical change will be a new beginning for Lovato.
The singer about two weeks ago deleted all her content from her Instagram account to show off her
new look, which includes a risky new tattoo on her head, as well as a new ear piercing.
Last year, the singer released her first production after four years of absence.
The music was an avant-garde pop sound, which was accompanied by a revealing documentary
entitled Demi Lovato: Dancing with the Devil.
The four-part docuseries focused on the singer's struggle with drugs.
In November 2010, Demi Lovato announced her departure from the Jonas Brothers world tour to begin a
long and arduous struggle with drug addiction.
This time her determination was accompanied by a physical change and a new look that caught
the attention of her followers.
