Now, in an interview with Vanity Fair, Priyanka did speak about this situation.
She did describe the online backlash as an "occupational hazard."
She did also make a reflection on the consequences of exposing a relationship on social networks.
"It's a very vulnerable feeling, actually. If I post an image, everything behind me in that image
will be handling and people will speculate."
"The noise of social media and the prevalence it has in our lives, I think it seems much bigger than it is.
I think we give it a lot more credibility in real life. I don't think it needs it." She told the magazine.
Moreover, Nick also spoke on the speculation surrounding their romance.
And how the two have fought together to overcome difficulties over the past three years.
"We both know that public life is something that comes with what we do."
"But we've set real boundaries around our personal lives, our privacy, and we've done
a lot of hard work to create that little safe haven for us with our friends and family."
Priyanka did note that as her career has come along, she has become "much more withdrawn."

The couple has told that they are making plans for the future.
