Jenna Ortega transforms into a gothic bride at 'Wednesday' premiere

Jenna Ortega seems to be one of the favorite actresses of the moment. The actress will star in the series 'Wednesday' dedicated to the Addams family. In fact, one of the moments in which the actress has shone the most is on the red carpet of the show, where she wore a gothic dress from the Versace collection. Jenna looked exactly like a gothic bride, and the veil was what completed the outfit. It was Jenna, who decided to give this touch to the dress, because according to her, she felt it was 'appropriate'.

Likewise, Jenna was not the only 'Wednesday' member to shine on the red carpet. Her co-star Christina Ricci, who plays Mrs. Thornhill in the series, dazzled in metallic-colored Rodarte gown with a chandelier. It should be noted that Ricci played the character of Wednesday many years ago, in the original 'Addams Family' series in 1991. Meanwhile, actress Catherine Zeta-Jones, who plays Marticia Addams, walked the carpet in a statuesque white mermaid style gown with her son Dylan.

Tim Burton directs the series, which, although derived from the famous 90's show 'Addams Family' focuses on Wednesday Addams. Jenna is tasked with playing this character, who, during the series, will be the newest student at Nevermore Academy, a school full of secrets, dark forces and unlikely friends. In fact, the 20-year-old spent months practicing fencing and playing the piano to play her role to the best of her ability. So far, 'Wednesday' has created high expectations due to its first images and the ratings it has on rotten tomatoes obtaining so far a 71% score from critics. The series 'Wednesday' will premiere soon on November 23 on Netflix.
