A few days ago the former boxer and influencer Andrew Tate caused controversy on Twitter. The young Andrew has made a tweet that has gone totally viral where he addresses Greta Thunberg. In the tweet, Andrew highlighted how one of his 33 cars was emitting a lot of pollution, and that his other cars were doing the same thing. However, Greta's response was even more epic and in fact, the tweet reached 1 million likes in 7 hours. So, Andrew has not stood still and answered her with a video to Greta that ended in very terrible consequences.
This Thursday, the 36-year-old former boxer and influencer was arrested in Romania along with his brother Tristan. Both are charged with human trafficking, BNO News reported. The images show the handcuffed brothers being led away by Romanian police. A raid had reportedly taken place minutes earlier at their luxurious residence. Many Twitter users speculate that the reason it became known that Andrew resided in Romania is because of the video with which he has responded to Greta Thunberg. In fact, the pizza boxes shown in the video are from Romanian chain Jerry’s Pizza.
The investigation revolves around the alleged kidnapping of two girls in Romania as part of a case led by the Directorate for the Investigation of Organized Crime and Terrorism (DIICOT) in which they are accused of being part of an organized crime group that subjected these girls to participate in adult videos. As Romanian prosecutors detailed, the Tates "appear to have created an organized crime group for the purpose of recruiting, harboring and exploiting women by forcing them to create pornographic content."
