Britney Spears is back in the spotlight. The concern of her fans, alerted by her every move, has been growing in recent months. Just a few days ago she was seen in a tense moment with her husband Sam Asghari, 28, at a restaurant, as reported, and now the sudden disappearance of her social media profiles have led them to take drastic measures. The Toxic singer's followers called the Ventura County Police Department to send an officer to her home to check if she was okay.
"I can confirm that we have received calls and also that we do not consider Britney Spears to be in danger," said a spokesman for the authorities. He would not, however, give details about the number of alerts they received or whether they had direct contact with the artist. The spokesman said they were trying to maintain privacy even though she was a public figure.
It is not the first time that Britney has deleted her accounts and, although the reasons are not know, a close source told Page Six that from time to time she needs to take a break. "She's happy," the source detailed, "silence can be more powerful than a message full of strength." The last message she wrote before canceling her account touched on different topics and in one of her sentences she said: "Giving everything to someone I love has only brought pain to my heart". The speculation about the meaning of this statement did not take long and many thought he was referring to Sam Asghari, especially after their recent public discussion. The actor responded that there is no reason to trust these rumors.
