Openly gay rapper Lil Nas X is in trouble. The author of "Industry Baby" used his twitter account to make a kind of joke, which in the end, turned out to be offensive to the trans community. All the drama starts because the singer had posted a photo of influencer Glow Princess, insinuating that he had recently undergone gender affirmation surgery. Many of his followers criticized the joke, calling it offensive and unfortunate, especially in light of the recent anti-LGBTQIA+ legislation. Lil Nas X defended his comment saying he was only commenting on the physical resemblance between them.
