The first John Wick movie hit every screen in 2014. This story started with a small project, which, much later, it became a whole complex and quite complete universe. In addition, the film is full of action, good battle choreography, excellent cinematography that has attracted the attention of the public and made a single film become a whole saga. 'John Wick: Charpter 4' arrived this year, and although the film would end all this action story, a fifth one is on the way. Both films were actually intended as one, but in the end, the studio responsible for this fiction decided to split it in two, in the style of Harry Potter or The Hunger Games.
With a whole complex universe already built and a story to finish, no one ever expected that this universe would expand even further. In fact, a prequel series is coming this year to the Prime Video streaming platform, being a Peacock original production. The series will mainly deal with the hotel 'The Continental' that throughout the movies, has been gaining much more importance. In addition, it has transcended that it will not be a series to use, of several seasons. It will be an event of only three chapters in which each one will be like a movie, with a duration, we understand, of more than one hour per episode.
'The Continental' series will explore the chain of hotels we saw in the movies, which in fact, there is a whole international chain-network, and with the same rules. The series will arrive in September of this year.
