Barry Keoghan already has a new project after leaving Gladiator 2.

Barry Keoghan has been into very exciting projects over the last few years. The actor has even been part of Eternals, one of Marvel's latest movies, as part of the many actors that are part of the UCM. He was also recently in The Banshees Of Inisherin, a film that helped him get his first Oscar nomination and in fact, win a BAFTA for his performance in the film.

The actor's career is undoubtedly becoming more and more important in the film industry, and in fact, it was recently official that he would be participating in 'Gladiator 2', the sequel that is in the hands of filmmaker Ridley Scott and starring Paul Mescal (Aftersun). Everyone was very excited about the collaboration of both actors, however, it was recently confirmed that Barry had to pull out of the film due to conflicts with his schedule. And it seems that the project for which Keoghan has left behind the Gladiator sequel is 'Bird', the film that Andrea Arnold (American Honey) will be directing.

'Bird' will be starting filming soon, in fact, at the same time he will be making 'Gladiator 2.' Franz Rogowski (The Way of the Wind) will star alongside Barry Keoghan and as of yet, there are no details on the story of this film. As for the release date, no one knows when it will hit theaters either, however, it is very likely to be in 2024.

On the other hand, another Barry Keoghan project is coming soon to the screen and it will be Saltburn, the irishman actor's first gay role. In the film he will share the screen with Jacob Elordi and there is no doubt that it will give a lot to talk about.
