It's been a long time since we've had new episodes of the Black Mirror series, five years to be exact. The series is one of the favorites of Netflix subscribers and from the first moment, it has been very popular, especially for the topics it touches with each of its episodes and how technology and the internet can play against us. That's why when a new season was released, fans couldn't hold their excitement and now, there are details about these new episodes.
Thanks to the streaming service and Entertainment Weekly there are already many details about the next installment of Black Mirror. The first episode is "Joan is Awful" and will focus on a woman who discovers that a streaming service has launched a show based on her life. Salma Hayek will star in this episode. Sam Miller directs “Loch Henry” and stars Samuel Blenkin and Daniel Portman. It will focus on a couple who attempt to make a nature documentary in a Scottish village, but a shocking backstory involving events from the local past draws them in.
Taking place in an alternate 1969 timeline, "Beyond the Sea" follows two men who embark on a dangerous high-tech mission with extreme consequences. John Crowley directs the episode and will feature Aaron Paul, Josh Hartnett and Kate Mara. "Mazey Day," by Uta Briesewitz and starring Zazie Beetz and Danny Ramirez, revolves around a troubled star who must deal with the aftermath of a hit-and-run while evading invasive paparazzi.
Finally, "Demon 79″ will take place in 1979 and focuses on a sales assistant who must perform terrible acts to prevent disasters from occurring. Toby Haynes directs the episode while Bisha K. Ali. is handling the script.
