In fact, it is official that it will be the second film by Emerald Fennell, Oscar-winning filmmaker for her work as a screenwriter on her debut feature, Promising Young Woman (2020).
According to the site World of Reel, this film has already had its first screenings in California to see the audience's reactions, which have been positive and indicate that there are explicit scenes in it. The cast includes Carey Mulligan, Rosamund Pike, Richard E. Grant, Archie Madekwe and Paul Rhys.
