Hunter Schafer joins A24's 'Mother Mary' starring Anne Hathaway.

A24 is a film and television production and distribution company that has recently gained a lot of popularity due to 'Everything Everywhere At All Once', a film that won almost every award at the last Oscar ceremony, including obviously Best Picture. This company never seems to rest, as it is always producing or looking for new feature films, and right now, it is producing one that looks like it will be one of the best films of the year. It is 'Mother Mary,' and filmmaker David Lowery will be in charge of directing. The also screenwriter is as famous for his slow dramas as he is for his action films.

'Mother Mary' will be led by Oscar-winning actress Anne Hathaway, and Emmy winner Michaela Coel. Anne will play a pop star while Coel will play a fashion designer. The actresses will be lovers in the film, however, it is unknown so far whether it will be explicitly romantic or not. Also, Charli XCX and Jack Antonoff will collaborate on original songs for the film that will shock viewers. The latest update on the film is that actress from the hit series Euphoria, Hunter Schafer will join the honorees, according to Deadline, Schafer will play Hilda, the assistant of Coel’s designer, Sam. In fact, Mother Mary will start recording soon, exactly in Germany.

Hunter Schafer, who is also a model, is currently involved in other projects, such as the prequel film 'The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes' and in fact, she also made a cameo in the upcoming film AND by Yorgos Lanthimos, the filmmaker behind films such as 'The Lobster, 'The Lighthouse' and 'The Killing of a Sacred Deer'.
