Venom 3: Chiwetel Ejiofor joins cast of film with Tom Hardy

It looks like Venom 3 will take quite a while to hit the screen, but the project is already underway. Although the Tom Hardy-starring predecessors haven't done all that well, Sony has already decided that the film will happen. Of course, we will have the same protagonist for the third film, and today it has come to light the detail that Chiwetel Ejiofor of this third installment, which will take place in Sony's Marvel universe and has had some friction with the UCM.

This has been reported by Deadline, however, so far the role his character will play is totally secret. The British actor has found a new superhero franchise to belong to after his appearance in the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Karl Mordo in the Doctor Strange films. It is worth mentioning that his integration to the third Venom movie could be with the same character, as let's remember that this is a big multiverse and Mordo can return at any time, as he did in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. In addition, Deadline reports that Sony has not issued comment on Chiwetel's arrival in his new Marvel movie.

Another actress who recently joined the cast of Venom 3 is Juno Temple, known for Maleficent and Horns. In fact, Tom himself is in charge of the script and Kelly Marcel, who also steps up a notch by taking on the role of director. Although the reception of the first two films at the box office has not been the best, their grosses have served as a powerful motivation for Sony to work on a new installment; now we can only wonder if the third production will be able to surpass its predecessors.
