Drive-away Dolls': the new Ethan Coen movie releases new trailer

It is a project that has been a long time in the making and has been taking shape little by little. The story introduces us to Jamie, a wild free spirit facing his umpteenth breakup, and Marian, his demure best friend, who desperately needs to relax. So, in search of a fresh start, and somewhat impulsively, they both decide to take a road trip to Tallahassee, Florida. However, on their way they cross paths with a group of criminals. Thus, things started to get out of control and nothing went as expected. Throughout this adventure they have to face several tragicomic situations and very particular scenarios.

Drive-Away Dolls is directed by Ethan Coen, who will be making his directorial debut as a solo director; at the same time, he co-wrote the screenplay with Tricia Cooke.

Coen and Cooke also serve as producers along with Robert Graf, Tim Bevan and Eric Fellner. The firms behind the project are Working Title Films and Focus Features, which will handle local distribution in the United States. Universal Pictures will be in charge of international distribution.

In addition to the participation of Margaret Qualley and Pedro Pascal, the cast includes Matt Damon, marking the reunion of these two actors after The Great Wall. Jing Tian, Andy Lau and Willem Dafoe complete the cast. Drive-Away Dolls will hit theathers on September 22, 2023.
