'EVIL DEAD RISE' is now streaming on Max.

HBO Max has a most unique peculiarity: although they announce the month's premieres and, on a weekly basis, those of the current week, they sometimes sneak in unannounced premieres that are well worth announcing. This week we have a good example of this with the arrival to the HBO Max catalog of Evil Dead Rise, the latest installment of the horror saga conceived by Sam Raimi, Evil Dead and direct sequel to the original trilogy. In fact, the film has an 84% review score on Rotten Tomatoes. Despite Warner's withdrawal of film focus from HBO Max, the studio's films continue to slowly make their way into the platform's catalog.
