The limited-edition original series Full Circle, from acclaimed Ocean's Eleven director and writer Steven Soderbergh, will premiere July 13 on Max. The six-episode series will debut with two episodes on that date, followed by two more episodes the following week and concluding with a two-part finale on Thursday, July 27.
The cast of the series includes Zazie Beetz, Claire Danes, Jim Gaffigan, Jharrel Jerome, Timothy Olyphant and Dennis Quaid. Beetz will play a U.S. Postal Inspection Service agent, while Danes will be a Manhattan corporate lawyer who runs her father's family business. Olyphant will join as Danes' husband, and Quaid will play her progenitor. Full Circle is a history that tells an investigation into a botched kidnapping that uncovers long-kept secrets connecting various characters in New York. The director previously described the series saying, "Even by Ed's standards, this is a complex narrative that manages to be both kaleidoscopic and intimate." A convoluted plot, but with Soderbergh's mastery in directing, it manages to capture the viewer.
The director, whose most recognized project is the Ocean's Eleven franchise, will direct the six episodes of the series. Ed Solomon is the series' lead screenwriter. Soderbergh and Solomon will also serve as executive producers on the upcoming project along with Casey Silver, who previously collaborated with the two on No Sudden Move, which premiered on Max last year.
In fact, at the time the series was announced, Joey Chavez, Max's executive vice president of original drama, stated, "We are thrilled to be working with Steven, Ed and Casey again after the masterful crime drama, No Sudden Move. This new limited series is full of twists and turns in the way only this team can do."
