It is clear that one of the most anticipated films of 2023 is Barbie. Directed by Greta Gerwig, it will feature Margot Robbie as the classic doll and Ryan Gosling as Ken. Robbie and Gosling will be part of the cast of the Ocean's Eleven prequel set in Europe in the 1960s. Although it has no confirmed title, is already in development according to Warner Bros. Pictures, behind the camera will be Jay Roach, who previously directed Robbie in ´Bombshell´. The screenplay will be written by Carrie Salomon. In the last decades, the franchise has been extended with fictions such as Ocean's 12, Ocean's 13 and Ocean's 8. But, in a matter of weeks, a new installment will begin its work on the set. For the moment, details of the plot are unknown, but it was reported that it will take place during the 1962 Monaco Grand Prix.
As for Robbie, in addition to starring in this prequel and pending confirmation that she will star in the new Pirates of the Caribbean, Robbie will soon be in David O. Russel's Amsterdam; Babylon under the orders of Damien Chazelle; Asteroid City, directed by Wes Anderson; Greta Gerwig's Barbie. She will also return to play Harley Quinn in Gotham City Sirens.
