Edvin Ryding and Omar Rudberg have revealed that the third and final season of Young Royals has finished filming. "We just wanted to let you know that Young Royals and season 3 are over, we had a great time…thank you for your support over the years. We can't wait to see this season, we think you're going to love it. Thank you so much for the support. We love you," Ryding and Rudberg said in a video posted via Netflix's social media.
In Young Royals, "Prince Wilhelm adjusts to life at the prestigious Hillerska boarding school. There he realizes that following his heart is harder than he had thought." Frida Argento, Malte Gårdinger and Nikita Uggla also star in the series.
For many this is incredible news, yet sad at the same time. Young Royals is one of the most successful Netflix series with one of the biggest fandoms. In fact, it is one of the few most popular LGBTQ+ stories, which over the years, has grown more and more every day.
After its season finale, many questions were left open, and fans can no longer wait for all the answers that this third and final season will give us. One of the biggest questions is what will happen to Wilhelm and what will his parents do after he has accepted his relationship with Simon on national television. Another question is what will happen with Sara and Simon, after he finds out about his sister's betrayal. Many fans are worried about August, and what will become of the character after all he has done. We'll get all these answers in the third season of Young Royals, coming soon on Netflix.
