Elvis Presley was a complicated man in many ways, yet none of this stopped the artist from becoming an icon when it came to music, and it was all thanks to his natural talent and charisma. Although the artist suffered many years ago, his figure is still alive and most of all in the world of cinema, where his origin, his rise, his fame, his loves, his excesses and any part that has to do with the King of Rock and Roll is still being explored. Now it is the production company A24 who is ready to portray the other side of the coin in the singer's life with the film 'Priscilla' which, in fact, already has an official teaser. This is indeed, a romantic film that will explore the relationship between Presley and the love of his life, Priscilla.
Cailee Spaeny, from 'The Craft: Legacy' will portray the woman who gives the film its title and tell the story of how she met Elvis, how she fell in love with him and how their romance grew over time. The hundreds of concerts and the many sales of the artists in the U.S. fell short of the love they felt for each other.
For his part, Jacob Elordi, from the HBO Max's hit Euphoria, will step into the shoes of the King of Rock and Roll and give his own voice to this music icon. The feature film is will hit theaters in late October, which means it is likely to premiere at the Venice, Telluride and Toronto Film Festivals in the fall before heading to major commercial theaters.
