The feature film offers a mix of comedy mystery and social satire in a sci-fi tale. In fact, one of the most outstanding qualities are its actors; Jamie Foxx, Teyonah Parris and John Boyega. Together, they are a trio like no other.
The film's story follows, Tyrone Fontaine (Boyega), a drug trafficker facing problems with a new rival in the area, who is also obfuscated by outstanding debts to pimp Slick Charles (Fox). After a fight, he is injured, then Tyrone shows up the next day completely unharmed. The miraculous event arouses the curiosity of Yo-Yo (Parris) and his special talent for chasing enigmas. Together, the three characters will unravel the truth of a creepy subway laboratory related to cloning and experiments on the area's African-American population.
As for his cast, Jamie Foxx - actor, comedian and record producer - gives a memorable performance as Slick Charles, an agent in the prostitution business who is always complaining about the women who work with him. Teyonah Parris, the iconic Monica Rambeau in the UCM, becomes Yo-Yo, a female fan of Nancy Drew's detective stories. On the other hand, John Boyega, known for his role in Star Wars, brings to life Tyrone, the character at the center of the mystery.
