The executive producer Dean English revealed this, who surprised fans with his announcement.

An extra online petition for the renewal of the fiction with a third season, which gathered more than 123 thousand signatures. "Today i officially inform you that, thanks to your combined voices, passion and incredible efforts, The Warrior Nun will be back and it's going to be more EPIC than you could ever imagine," Barry tweeted last June, announcing the good news without revealing further details. Until that moment, everyone knows that somehow or another, the series was coming back.

It wasn't until this past Tuesday that executive producer Dean English shared the exciting news of the reincarnation of the fiction in a format that no one expected.
