The first trailer for the series 'Monarch: Legacy of Monsters' is out.

The saga called 'Monsterverse' has passed without glory in theaters and streaming services. But the Godzilla and Kong movies are spectacular in terms of staging, and Apple knows that. That's why they have bet on a series that adds more plot to the timeline of the great monsters, so watch out because one of the big series candidates to grab all the talk in the coming months (or, at least Apple TV+ hopes so) already has a premiere date and a great first trailer for 'Monarch: Legacy of Monsters'. The new expansion of the Godzilla monsterverse will arrive on November 17 with Kurt Russell in the lead.

In fact, 'Monarch: Legacy of Monsters' will have ten episodes, the series begins after the battle between Godzilla and the Titans that ravaged San Francisco. In addition, here we will see the story of two brothers who follow in their father's footsteps to discover their family's connection to the secret organization known as Monarch. This will lead them to Lee Shaw, an army officer.

The main cast includes Kurt Russell, Wyatt Russell, Anna Sawai, Kiersey Clemons, Ren Watabe, Mari Yamamoto, Anders Holm, Joe Tippett and Elisa Lasowski. The series is developed by Matt Fraction and Chris Black, with Matt Shakman serving as director for the first few episodes. This is the sixth installment in the franchise and the second in series format following Netflix's animated 'Skull Island'. The next film in the saga will arrive in 2024: 'Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire', with Adam Wingard returning as director and Dan Stevens as the lead. Undoubtedly, this series will be one of the most watched once it starts airing on Apple TV+.
