According to a new report from Deadline, Civil War the film will hit the big screen two weeks earlier in order to take full advantage of the number of IMAX screenings. As a result, Alex Garland's new film will be available in North American theaters on April 12 instead of April 26 as previously announced.
Civil War features a main cast that includes Kirsten Dunst (Spider-Man), Jesse Plemons (Breaking Bad), Nick Offerman (The Last of Us), Wagner Moura (Narcos), Cailee Spaeny (Priscilla), Karl Glusman (The Idol), among others.
According to the first teaser, Civil War will be take place in the near future and will see the United States erupt into civil war, exploring the possible consequences for the population. The clip also features Nick Offerman as the President of the United States, while Dunst will play a reporter trying to portray the chaos around her.

The dystopian thriller should be a film that, from a devastating scenario, will also stimulate reflections on contemporary political reality.
