Good news for fans of The Boys. Amazon Prime Video has just confirmed the premiere date of the fourth season of its flagship series, one of the most anticipated productions of 2024. Through X (Twitter), the streaming platform confirmed that The Boys will have its long-awaited return next June 13, with the first episodes of season 4. We still have to wait a few months, it is true, but at least we have a target date to mark on the calendar.
According to Amazon MGM Studios, the first three episodes will be available on launch day. While the remaining five will hit the plataform weekly until the big season finale on July 18.
The new season of The Boys, Prime Video's "diabolical drama" -that's how Amazon qualifies it-, promises 8 episodes loaded with adrenaline, tension, and all the elements that have made this proposal a fan favorite. Last December we had a first glimpse with a teaser trailer that did not disappoint.
In fact, aeason 4 of The Boys will offer us a storyline that will embrace a strong political tone. With Victoria Neuman in the race to be the Vice President of the United States, we will surely see how her true plans or intentions will be revealed as she gets closer to the White House. Homelander's interference in the political campaign and the growing social unrest is sure to be another point of great interest.
The instability of the character played by Antony Starr will also give a lot to talk about in the course of the new episodes. In the first trailer, in fact, we have a pretty clear image of it, with Homelander aboard an elevator and covered in blood, but with a smile on his face.
