Heartstopper will take a few more months for the premiere of its third season on Netflix. The popular LGTBI series starring Joe Locke and Kit Connor will return with new chapters in October 2024, as announced by the aforementioned platform. What has not yet been specified is the exact day on which the expected launch will take place. In the meantime, the Heartstopper team continues to prepare its new plots, and in the video available on their social networks, there are some clues.
Season 3 of this teen drama will address the conflicts that have arisen in the young lead couple. "Things are hot and heavy between Nick and Charlie. There's a lot of sexual tension and love. We're all at that point," they tell while preparing for the filming of the eighth episode. Let's remember that the relationship between them is a little damaged, as seen at the end of the second batch of chapters.
In addition, Heartstopper will continue to give importance to the secondary characters. Tao will start "to discover what he likes and what his hobbies are", says Kizzy Edgell, the actor who plays him: "He has found his passion, something he really likes, and he does it to cheer up and encourage the other characters in the series".
In the next chapters we will also "see more of Tori and how she has been affected by what has happened" to her brother Charlie. In addition, says actress Jenny Walser, Tori will find "a new friendship", something that is not usual for her.
These are some of the novelties that viewers of Heartstopper will find, but we still have to wait more than half a year to enjoy them.
