A new trailer with disturbing and dark images anticipates the return of American Horror Story: Delicate, season 12 of the acclaimed anthology series created by Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk. According to the clip released by FX on Wednesday, Siobhan, the character played by Kim Kardashian, intensifies her presence around Anna Victoria Alcott (Emma Roberts). The two stars share a kiss, a moment that is intertwined with frightening hallucinations of the protagonist.
This installment of AHS picks up the story of Anna, an actress desperate to become a mother. In the process, she becomes involved in a series of paranormal and macabre events. Siobhan, her publicist, shares other goals, such as ensuring her success in the film industry. Part 2 episodes, which will premiere in the U.S. on April 3, show a darker side of Kim Kardashian's role.
"I'm going to give you the life you dream of. What are you willing to give up in return?" asks Siobhan. "Anything," Alcott replies. Soon after it would seem that the agent's true nature comes to light. "You're a monster," accuses Anna, to which Siobhan replies, "Oh no, honey. I'm much worse."
Season 12 of American Horror Story has several particularities. On the one hand, it is the first time that fiction is based on a novel. Anna Alcott's story is based on the book Delicate Condition, written by Danielle Valentine. The production of the series also had to adapt to unforeseen changes, as filming was halted in 2023 in the context of the actors' and screenwriters' strike.
That is the reason why the show is coming to the screen in a two-part format. The first five episodes debuted in September 2023; while the next four will be released weekly in April.
