Jeffrey Wright joins 'The Last of Us' Season 2.

The second season of the acclaimed series 'The Last of Us' continues to add prominent names to its cast. HBO has confirmed that actor Jeffrey Wright will join the cast, reprising his role as a character he previously played in the video game 'The Last of Us: Part II', in 2020. The first season of the series starring Pedro Pascal as Joel Miller and Bella Ramsey as Ellie Williams, adapted the acclaimed 2013 video game to great acclaim. The series features a post-apocalyptic world where the protagonists must survive zombies infected by a parasitic fungus, as well as other human dangers such as mercenaries and cannibals.
