HBO's Euphoria is finally ready to return for a third season with production slated to begin in January 2025. This confirmation comes directly from HBO boss Casey Bloys, who revealed that the upcoming season will consist of eight episodes, this news comes after the recent rumors that were circulating once again about the show's cancellation. Euphoria has become one classic of our time, with the first season premiering back in 2019 and the second installment returning 2022, leaving the fans with so many questions.
In fact, Casey Bloys stated in a HBO statement: “We are shooting ‘Euphoria,'” he told reporters on Tuesday at an HBO/Max press event.” I think we have a start date, mid to late January. Nothing’s changed. Somebody said something online, and then this whole thing started. We are shooting the season. I have read the scripts. We’re happy. We’re moving ahead. All of the actors are in the show.” Apparently confirming the return of all of the original actors, with the exceptions of Barbie Ferreira, who exited the show last year ahead of multiple differences with showrunner, Sam Levinson.
Zendaya will join Christopher Nolan's upcoming film, which is expected to start production in early 2025. Additionally, she may reprise her role as MJ in Spider-Man 4 also slated for a 2025 shoot. Meanwhile, Jacob Elordi is confirmed to star alongside Margot Robbie in Emerald Fennell's adaptation of Wuthering Heights with filming scheduled for 2025 in the U.K. Sydney Sweeney, Hunter Schafer, Storm Reid, Alexa Demie, and Eric Dane lead the cast of the show. However, Angus Cloud, known for his portrayal of Fezco in Euphoria, tragically passed away at the age of 25 in July 2023.
