Drag artist La Voix recently faced a disappointing end to her run on the 2025 series of Strictly Come Dancing.
An injury tragically forced her to withdraw from the main competition, just before the highly anticipated Blackpool special.
However, in good news for fans, La Voix quickly announced that she will return to the dancefloor for the 2026 Strictly Come Dancing Live Arena Tour.
La Voix, whose real name is Christopher Dennis, had impressed judges and audiences with her partnership with professional dancer Aljaž Škorjanec.
The star was having a strong run, but she started to feel pain in her foot during their Foxtrot week. The injury, described as a bone bruise, grew worse over time.
Initially, show producers gave La Voix and Aljaž a "bye" through the Blackpool week, hoping she would recover quickly and return to the competition.
However, medical professionals advised her to step away completely.
Hosts Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman announced the sad news during the live show, confirming that La Voix was officially withdrawing from the series.
This sudden exit meant that the show did not hold an elimination that week, giving the other couples a reprieve.
La Voix expressed her intense disappointment, saying that this was not the "glittering exit" she had imagined.
She shared that her spirit wanted to keep dancing but her foot had "other ideas." She also worried about letting down her partner, Aljaž, who she thanked for his belief and support throughout the journey.
Despite the sadness, she emphasized how much the experience meant to her, noting the incredible warmth she felt from the entire cast and crew.
Just a week after her heartbreaking departure from the main show, La Voix delighted fans with an exciting announcement: she will return for the Strictly Come Dancing Live Tour in 2026.
This huge stage provides the perfect place for her to complete her dancing journey.
La Voix will reunite with her partner, Aljaž Škorjanec, and they will travel around the country performing in massive arenas.
She said she was "absolutely thrilled" to have this chance to get back on an even bigger dancefloor. The tour opens in January and will visit major cities like Birmingham, London, and Glasgow.
This tour confirmation means La Voix joins other big names from the series, including judges Shirley Ballas, Anton Du Beke, and Craig Revel Horwood.
Her participation ensures that she and Aljaž will finally get to show off more of their fabulous routines in front of the huge live audiences they deserved.
