Comedian Eddie Kadi became the second contestant voted off the 2025 series of I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! following a public vote on Sunday night.
His departure came just two days after former footballer Alex Scott was the first star to leave the Australian jungle camp.
Kadi, who is 42, spent 16 days in the challenging environment.
Speaking to hosts Ant and Dec immediately after his elimination, he shared his mixed feelings. "I'm happy and sad at the same time," Kadi said. "What a great time.
I have made amazing friends, faced some fears, and to be fair, it still feels very surreal to be on such an iconic show."
The comedian noted the experience felt much longer than it was, joking it seemed like he had spent "a year" in the jungle.
During his exit interview, Kadi explained how his time in the jungle connected him to his family history.
"Coming from Congo, we have a massive rainforest, which I have never visited," he explained.
"I feel like I have had a taste of how my great grandparents and my grandparents will have grown up and now explains why they were so humble."
Eddie Kadi concluded that the experience showed him that humans are "enough as a people, as human beings," even when they face extreme hunger.
The episode that showed Kadi’s exit also featured dramatic developments in the camp.
EastEnders actress Shona McGarty stepped down as camp leader after she admitted to using unauthorized butter found in the food trunk.
To avoid losing stars for the camp, she chose to forfeit her leadership position.
Following her exit from the role, the remaining celebrities voted for a new leader, and comedian Ruby Wax won the vote by a large margin.
Wax immediately declared that things would change, saying, "No more Mrs. Nice Guy!" which prompted fellow contestant Jack Osbourne to joke that the camp was seeing the start of "the craziest dictatorship."
Kadi stated that he hopes reality TV star Jack Osbourne goes on to win the series.
