Gordon Ramsay recently shared his emotional reaction to his daughter Holly’s wedding to Olympic swimmer Adam Peaty.
During an appearance on This Morning in January 2026, the 59-year-old chef confessed that he became a "hot mess" while walking Holly down the aisle and delivering his father-of-the-bride speech.
The lavish ceremony took place on December 27, 2025, at Bath Abbey, featuring a 65-meter aisle that required a particularly grand entrance.
Holly, 26, wore a custom lace Elie Saab gown inspired by the wedding dresses of Grace Kelly and Kate Middleton.
Gordon reportedly felt overwhelmed when he first saw his daughter in the dress, which she had kept hidden from photographers under a large white cloak upon her arrival.
The chef also admitted he experienced a "shock" during the reception when Holly changed into a sentimental second look: her mother Tana’s original wedding gown from 1996.
The wedding spared no expense, with reports indicating that Gordon spent approximately £50,000 on floral arrangements alone.
Guests, including David and Victoria Beckham, received high-end party favors such as £190 bottles of tequila.
Despite the celebration, the event faced public scrutiny due to a rift with Adam Peaty’s parents, who did not attend the nuptials.
Gordon’s youngest daughter, Tilly, noted that her father’s "perfect" speech moved the entire room to tears, though some reports suggest it contained subtle references to the family's ongoing drama.
Holly managed five different outfit changes throughout the wedding weekend, including a third look by Elie Saab for the dance floor and a Victoria Beckham design for the welcome event.
Gordon joked about the multiple changes, questioning why one bride needs so many dresses, yet he remained a supportive presence throughout the festivities.
The couple has since updated their social media handles to include both of their last names as they begin their life together.
