Rather than hiding the marks, Josie used the moment to provide an honest update on her ongoing health journey with lipoedema.

Josie first publicly revealed her diagnosis at the start of the year, explaining that she spent her entire life fighting her own genetics. Lipoedema causes an abnormal, painful build-up of fatty tissue that typically affects the legs and arms. The condition remains highly resistant to traditional weight-loss methods, meaning that no amount of clean eating or intense exercise can reduce the targeted tissue.

The presenter described the condition as a constant source of physical discomfort, noting that long 12-hour filming days on her feet left her limbs swollen, heavy, and incredibly sore. After realizing that the issue was worsening with age, Josie decided to pursue surgical intervention as a final option to manage the pain and change her silhouette.

The visible scars stem from two separate operations that Josie underwent over the past few months.

She initially invested around £7,000 in a specialized lipo treatment and Vaser technology for her calves to help sculpt her lower legs.

Following the success of that first operation, she recently returned to the clinic for a second surgery to address similar swelling in her upper body.

The combined recovery process from the liposuction and subsequent arm lift briefly paused her busy schedule, leaving her resting at home under tight medical bandages.

Josie admitted that the physical limitations made it difficult to handle basic household chores, but she remained focused on allowing her skin to heal and tighten properly.
