Sam Faiers felt "pressure" to give her partner a baby boy.
The former "The Only Way is Essex" star has admitted she was riddled with nerves throughout her pregnancy in 2015 because she knew how much her boyfriend Paul Knightley wanted to have a little son and felt it was her duty to provide him with that.
Speaking to Channel Mum, she said: "Paul really really wanted a boy, and he was like "as long as I've got my son you can have five girls" and I was like "oh god pressure". Some men really want boys and the mum feels under pressure as if it's their fault. But when that baby is born whether it's a girl or a boy the dad is unconditionally going to love that baby anyway."
The 26-year-old beauty kept the sex of her baby a secret until he was born but she always knew Paul was going to be a boy and would've been "surprised" if he wasn't.
She explained: "I kept the sex of my baby a surprise, but I knew it was going to be a boy. I would have been so surprised if I had a girl. I was convinced, I just had a feeling. All those old wives tales, the strings, the Chinese chart, I did it all and it all came out to be a boy, but even before doing that I just knew."
The blonde star adapted to motherhood really well and is now starting to ween 15-month-old Paul off the boob because he's eating so much grub now.
She explained recently: "He's trying to talk, he's walking, he's cheeky and he's eating everything in sight! He's really cute.
"I'm in the process of getting him off the boob completely, but because we moved house recently I thought: "This isn't a good time." But he's eating all day long, so he doesn't really have a boob for milk now. It's more like a dummy and comfort."
