Michelle Keegan has been hailed a hard worker.

The 30-year-old actress - who is married to former "The Only Way is Essex" star Mark Wright - has been praised for working "incredibly hard" on her career on and off the camera.

Speaking about the brunette beauty and her successful career to The Mirror Online, a source said: "Michelle works incredibly hard and the rewards have come in for her."

Michelle is known for playing the role of Tina McIntyre on the longstanding soap "Coronation Street" for six years, and although it was a "massive decision" for her to quit the programme in 2014, she took the leap of faith because she knew she could earn "more cash".

The insider continued: "It was a massive decision for her to leave Britain's most popular show but she knew that she could make far more cash away from the "Street" - and she has been proven right."

This news comes after the publication revealed the star has raked in over £1 million for her firm Rosia Promotions Limited following her departure from the popular ITV show.

Michelle joined forces with Lipsy London in May 2014 and has launched a variety of collections over the past three years, has reportedly earned her a whopping £250,000 per year.

Whilst her partnership with Garnier's Ambre Solaire, which has seen her front campaigns for the cosmetic brand's self-tanning merchandise is believed to have seen her awarded £150,000.

Since leaving the cobbled streets of Weatherfield Michelle has starred in "Ordinary Lies", "Tina and Bobby", as well as "Our Girl".

And the star has recently wrapped up filming the third series of the television drama, which sees her portray Lance Corporal Georgie Lane alongside Luke Pasqualino.
