oss Kemp has broken his toe.

The 53-year-old investigative journalist spent the whole day at the hospital yesterday (10.10.17) after he snapped one of his metatarsal bones in his left foot while practicing his flying kick in his martial arts training earlier this week.

Taking to his Twitter account last night, the actor uploaded a photograph of him posing for a photograph with the medical team at the hospital and accompanied it with the caption: "At the hospital with my broken toe today. Thanks to everyone there and to everyone working in the NHS. You are brilliant (sic)."

His hospital dash came less than 24 hours after he posted a picture of his bruised and swollen big toe with one of the bones poking out the side on the social networking site.

He quipped: "Up with the crows to train today. Lesson learned...make sure you are the right distance when doing a flying kick! (sic)"

This is the second time Ross has rushed to the hospital in the space of two weeks after he took his wife Renee O'Brien in to deliver their twin daughters Ava and Kitty.

The former "EastEnders" star announced that he had become a father for the third time at the end of September and, although he likes to keep details of his family life close to his chest, he did revealed their sweet monikers and share a shot of them online.
