Stephanie Davis has been cleared of attacking her ex-boyfriend Jeremy McConnell.
The 24-year-old actress was arrested last year on suspicion of grievous bodily harm (GBH) after the pair were allegedly involved in a late-night brawl, which resulted in the hunk leaving with a bruised eye, at the Royal Chace Hotel in North London on July 2.
However, Metropolitan Police have confirmed that the investigation into the incident has been closed and the allegations against Stephanie have been dropped.
A representative for her said: "Stephanie has always maintained her innocence."
Shortly after her arrest, Jeremy, 28, claimed that he didn't lay a finger on her - despite her being covered in bruises - because she was expecting their second child.
He said at the time: "She just told me that she was pregnant. I was pretty shocked as it wasn't planned, but to be honest I was excited. She told me that she was going to have a scan at the hospital later that afternoon. The pregnancy was not planned and given our history together took me by surprise. I was pleased, but still in a bit of a shock. Steph then looked at my phone and saw that I was following some other woman. She just went mental at me and kicked off.
"She was going mental I had not even met this woman but was just following her. She would not listen and stormed off to go to the pub and refused to go to the scan."
It was later claimed the former "Hollyoaks" star had lost the baby through a miscarriage.
Just one month after her arrest, Jeremy appeared in court charged with assault after he lunged her at her while she was holding their then-12-week-old son Caben in April.
He pleaded not guilty but was convicted of the crime and handed a suspended prison sentence, ordered to pay a number of fines and forced to do community service.
However, he failed to turn up to community service last year and, instead, decided to jet off to Turkey for a hair transplant without seeking permission from the courts first.
He was then jailed for 34 days last year.
