Chris Hughes wants to stay single and focus on his career as he gets over his split from Olivia Attwood.
The 24-year-old "Love Island" star split with Olivia - whom he found love with whilst in the infamous villa last year - last month, but has claimed he isn't dwelling on the end of their romance, as he's now in a "good place".
Speaking to BANG Showbiz, he said: "I'm in a good place now after the split, I'm quite happy. I'm waking up every with a smile on my face and I feel fresher mentally. I'm just going to use this time to focus on myself and just be me for a while and work hard and knuckle down to things. Whatever happens in the future with romance will happen, but I'm just going to focus on myself.
"I've never really had a period on my own; I've always been a relationship man, so I'm just going to focus on me."
During his time on the ITV2 reality show, Chris struck up a close friendship with Kem Cetinay - who went on to win the show with now-ex partner Amber Davies - and now that the two pals are single, they are off on a lads holiday to Mexico, although Chris insists they will also be working whilst they're away.
He added: "Yeah me and Kem are off to Mexico for a trip, it's part work and part pleasure. We're filming a campaign out there which I can't say too much about, but we're just going to have good fun. It's good weather, I've been to Mexico before so that should be good. We're there for five days so I just want to enjoy it, enjoy the filming, I'm looking forward to it.
"We're staying near Cancun, I don't know where exactly, I imagine it'll be a fairly mainstream kind of place. I don't know what the schedule is but I'm hoping will have a bit of time to let our hair down.
